There’s a new place in Mafia Wars under the Godfather section, the Marketplace. Today is the Marketplace and International Payments Grand Opening! Check out the Marketplace now for the Hourly Sale of All Items:  featured items, stat items (energy, etc), limited edition loot, boosts, crates, special loot and offers which can be bought through your Reward Points. If you ran out of Reward Points, you can buy at the marketplace using PayPal or a Credit Card. if you have missed the Featured Items before, now is your chance to get those items through the Marketplace.

Do you know that you can change your class on the Godfather page? Wondering What is a Class? Well, if you have forgotten, you were given a chance to choose one class before you can start playing Mafia Wars. The three (3) classes were: Mogul, Maniac and Fearless, aach class offers a reduced amount of recharge time to one of the three timers. The Mogul Class receives money from properties every 54 minutes as opposed to the usual 60, as well as a 5% increase in profit from businesses in both Moscow and Cuba. Moguls with Rackets will get 10% more cash from their rackets. The Maniac Class as an energy recharge timer of 3 minutes, unlike the other two classes which have a timer of 5 minutes. The Fearless Class receives a health recharge time reduction (every 3 minutes as opposed to the usual 5).

If you’re tired of playing as Mogul, Maniac or Fearless, you can now change your class on the Godfather page for 15 reward Points. Fearless and Mogul classes has been improved, Fearless players now receive higher stamina regeneration. Mogul players now receive more cash from jobs.

This week’s Limited Time Offer is a Mustard Gas. You can have this Limited Time Offer item at the Godfather for 25 Reward Points. Grab this Limited Edition item now before it the time is over. The Mustard Gas attack is very high at 43 and had a good defense of 25.

This week’s Limited Time Offer is an Ex-SEAL. You can have this Limited Time Offer item at the Godfather for 25 Reward Points. Grab this Limited Edition item now before it the time is over. The Ex-SEAL attack is very high at 45 and had a good defense of 27.

There’s a New Property in New York, the Chop Shop. The Chop Shop allows you to “clean” stolen cars, by removing any identifying marks and serial numbers. It requires 5 different items to get started, and you’ll need to collect 10 of each item to complete it. You’ll need to ask your friends for help in getting it built, the materials to build it are scattered across the city and not everyone has access to the same parts in their neighborhood.

Build your Chop Shop and start producing illicit vehicles and collect the items necessary to create a Chop Shop and you could be getting free vehicles everyday!

Once you’ve completed your Chop Shop, it can produce a variety of vehicles like from Common: ATV, Volk Luxury Sedan, to Rare vehicles like CM Dragon.

Check out the new Gift Safe House: Respect Level Edition. The Items from the previous Safe House are still the same. There is also a Respect Meter wherein your level moves up and down according to what your friends think of you. Each gift of respect gives you a +10% to your respect meter for level 0, and +5% each level thereafter. Each gift of disrespect gives you -5% to your respect meter. Check out the new Safe House: Respect Level Edition and start asking for respect to gain special Respect Level Bonus Items.

How to Earn the That’s Amore Achievement in Mafia Wars? The That’s Amore Achievement can be earned by giving a Diamond Ring to any player below level 8. So if you have any extra Diamond Ring, share it to your mafias below level 8 and you will have this achievement plus 1 skill point.

Where to find the Riding Elephant in Mafia Wars? The Riding Elephant can be found in Bangkok, under Episode 2: Criminal Job Tier, Set Up A Bogus Chess Tournament job. You will have a chance to loot this item, if you choose Triad. The Riding Elephant has  a low attack of 18 but has a good defense of 30.

Where to find the Royal Thai Army Beret in Mafia Wars? The Royal Thai Army Beret can be found in Bangkok, under Episode 2: Criminal Job Tier if you choose Yakuza, you will have a chance to loot this item. Do the job for 47 energy points you’ll earn +72 experience points and B$957. The Royal Thai Army Beret’s attack is 28 and it has a defense of 21.
